Starting 14th October – Sunday Lunch!

We’re excited to be offering a new Sunday Lunch menu at Blacks of Chapel Street – the following is an example of what is on offer – be sure to contact us for the menu on the Sunday that you plan to join us.

Cream of leek & potato soup with crusty bread

Mackerel & beetroot salad with horseradish dressing

Grilled Halloumi with roasted cherry tomatoes, pesto and rocket

River Exe mussels, bacon, shallot, cider and cream

Main Course

Roast topside of beef or loin of pork

With Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes,seasonal vegetables & real gravy!

Loin of hake on a minted pea risotto

Apricot & ginger nut roast

With Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes,seasonal vegetables & real vegetable gravy!

Dessert

Warm apple compote and creamy rice pudding with cinnamon crumbler

Orange & Cointreau saffron bread & butter pudding, orange & Mascarpone ice cream

A selection of Moo Maid of Zennor ice creams

Warm chocolate brownie with raspberries and clotted cream

Thanks to popular demand we are delighted to now be offering a tapas menu on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5pm.

The menu will change regularly but to give you a flavour of what is to be on offer the following is a sample.

 

Leek and Mount's Bay smoked arancini

Sweet baby peppers stuffed with cream cheese and chives

Halloumi and cherry tomatoes with a balsamic dressing

Crispy sesame seed pork belly fritters with a sticky maple and date sauce

Tempura king prawns with a sweet chilli sauce
