Are you looking for a new challenge? A role in which you have the opportunity to create your own style and help develop new menus? There exists an exciting opportunity for a motivated Chef to help make a significant impact in our growing business at Blacks Dining Room and Bar.
The candidate must be able to prove good kitchen management skills, experience working with seafood and grill is essential and a passion for desserts and pastry would be an advantage
Responsibilities and requirements:
- Deliver outstanding service to our customers
- Maintain quality and standards that reflect the company’s reputation
- Must have good knowledge of stock rotation, GP’s, costings, budgets and ordering
- Ensure that the kitchen operations comply with all the business’s internal and statutory requirements including Health and Safety at Work Act and Food Hygiene Regulations
- Must be organised and cope well under pressure while still delivering consistently high quality food, cooked to order
- Be a team player within an energetic environment and have a willingness to help in all areas
- High standards of personal and work hygiene
- NVQ level 2 minimum
- Valid food hygiene certification
- Must be able to do some split shifts

Sous Chef Required
There exists an exciting opportunity for a motivated Sous Chef with a flair for desserts to join a new team at the start of the menu development process.
Ideally have 2 years experience
Must have Good knowledge of stock rotation, GP’s, costings and budgets and ordering
Be a team player and have a willingness to help in all areas
Work well under pressure
High standards of personal and work hygiene
Take over in Head Chef’s absence
NVQ level 2 preferred
Hours : must be able to do split shifts salary negotiable for the right candidate
