This year we are really pleased to be combining the skills of our head chef with the in-depth knowledge of our wine supplier to come up with a menu that we’re sure you are going to love.
Accompanying each course will be a glass of carefully matched wine to help accentuate the flavours of the food that we are so passionate to be able to serve.
Great music, a warm open fire, food, wine and sharing that with the people you care about – come to Blacks for your New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Summer 2018 Wine List
New Wine List at Blacks of Chapel Street
We are really excited to announce our new Summer 2018 wine list! After much research during the Winter months, we have come up with a new local supplier of affordable quality wines who is as passionate about getting the right balance as we are.
The wine list is now available – you can check it out from the Menu section of our website, or simply pop in to see us. Many of the wines are available by the glass – 175ml or 250ml. Additionally, this year we are pleased to be offering a 500ml carafe offering on certain wine for those who may find a full bottle just a little too much.

New Year’s Eve at Blacks of Chapel Street
With only a few days to go in 2016, we’re preparing for an evening of great food, drinks and chilling by the fire at Blacks.
This year the emphasis is on relaxing with a range of mouth-watering meals using locally sourced ingredients including porterhouse steak, lobster and stuffed jumbo flat fish to share or individual cuts of fillet, rib eye, rump and local fish dishes to set you up for 2017 (don’t worry, vegetarian dishes are available as well).

There’s plenty on in Penzance for New Year’s Eve, so if you want to eat earlier and then head on to a party – for example at the Turk’s Head or Final Night of the Ritz – then we are open from 1730 – don’t forget to book a table to be sure!

Whatever the Weather…
Come and warm up at Blacks of Chapel Street
We’re not really expecting a White Christmas at Blacks of Chapel Street even though the wonderful Snow Elves story-telling team bring their own snow showers! But whatever ‘Storm Barbara’ may bring our way we are open today and tomorrow to serve you a delicious selection of warming drinks and energy boosting cakes to keep you going until Christmas Day.
So if you are in town looking for that last minute gift or the brandy butter sauce that you forgot for the pudding, why not pop into Blacks and chill out in the warmth with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie?
