It’s all about great fish, steaks, drinks and live music this New Year’s Eve – we’re going to be chilling by the fire so why not come and join us to celebrate with a mouth-watering menu plus our selection of world wines, local beers, bubbles, cocktails and so much more… Plus this year we have the added bonus of the company of the Martin Bowie Trio playing Jazz as we end 2017 and welcome 2018.

Starter Choice:

Honey Glazed Figs

Served with dressed rocket and a treacle & walnut purée

Pulled Beef

Slowly braised & layered with shaved celeriac and finished with a wasabi cream

Goats Cheesecake

Goats cheese served on a sesame & poppy seed puff pastry base topped with red onion jam infused with juniper, redcurrant berries & thyme


Fresh local scallops seared and served on celeriac purée with pickled watermelon rind, black pudding and baby basil

A Meat Eater’s Feast: Porterhouse (Double Sirloin)

Chargrilled to your liking and presented with grilled heritage tomatoes, mushroom, mixed seasonal vegetables, a choice of infused butter and sauce chasseur – remember – for two to share!

Prime Cornish Sole

Butterflied then stuffed with a rich scallop mousse, oven roasted and served with new potatoes, winter greens & beurre noisette – for two to share
